Environmental Commitment
Do you know the impact of climate change?
In the recent years we have witnessed the rise of industry, infastructure and pollution at the cost of rainforests and wilderness. These environments are not just habitats to a plethra of animals and wildlife but are also responsible to filtering air, providing holistic remedies and much more.
With the rise of technology and more freedom than ever over what we choose to consume, I am afraid that the coming generations will miss out on the vital connections to nature. It is our responsibility to look after our environment and ecosystem before we lose it. What world do we want to leave our grandchildren?
Coral reefs.
Not only are they essential habitats for marine life, they are also of paramount importance to us humans. They are carbon sinks that are responsible soaking up a large percent of carbon emmisions.
Corals acheive this through a symbiotic relationship they have with algae that latch onto them and provide support and protection. Carbon is absorbed during photosynthesis releasing energy that the coral feeds of (as well as smaller plankton).
However with the rise of the ocean temperatures the corals the algae stuggles to undergo the reaction, essentially starving the coral leading to coral bleaching.
Making a positive impact.
In respect to nature conservation I have partnered up with Ecologi, a climate action platform. Each peice that you buy will directly be contributing to ocean cleanup or restablishing tree numbers
